Yesterday, I took my friend, Kristi, to the The Teapot Depot to celebrate her birthday. This wonderful little tearoom, located next to the railroad tracks in Highlands, TX, has just under gone a remodel on the inside dinning areas. We both had the raspberry iced tea, the tea of the day, and a piece of spice bread to start. Kristi had the Flower Pot Chicken Pot Pie, which is their signature dish. I had the Conductor's Plate, which included a scoop of dill grape chicken salad, cup of baked potato soup, corn chips and a cream cheese muffin. We topped off the birthday lunch with a piece of pecan pie. Everything was delicious!Such a fun way to celebrate a birthday ;~)

I couldn't find a web site, so I have included their business card.

Hey this is where my baby shower was!! We love this place!!
That sounds like such a neat place! How far away is it?
We left Kristi's car at preschool and it took us about 40 minutes. You just take FM2100 South to Highlands and make a Right on Denny Street.
