Pumpkin Carving

We had wonderful weather to carve our pumpkins this year. Here is Bailey cleaning out some seeds.

Jack poses for a picture, but didn't want to get his hands dirty.
Here is the final result. Bailey designed the on the the left and I did the one on the right.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Trunk or Treat 2011

This year's Trunk or Treat at AUMC was SPOOKTACULAR!

We had pizza, cotton candy, made a craft ... and trick or treated. Here is "Mario" with Princess Peach.

We also took a few turns on the blow up slides.

First Jack.
Then Bailey.

We had such a fun time despite the windy cold weather.

Texas doesn't do the cold :0)

Fall Fest 2011

We had a great time at the Crosby Community Center's Fall Fest this year. The kids played a few carnival games.

Got a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch.

Decorated their pumpkins with stickers and some hair.
Then went for a hay ride. Yes, they are sitting on hay. It didn't make it into the picture.

Finished up the event with a hot dog and chips for lunch.

Such a fun day!

New Vest

We got some cooler temps and rain all day long today! This gave Bailey a reason to wear her “new” vest that she got yesterday at Good Will for $3.99. Don’t you just love the red leopard?

Fall Festival

Today, the kids and I went to the May Community Center's Fall Festival. It was so much fun. The pumpkin patch was $5.00 per child and that included carnival games, clowns, face painting, a train ride, pumpkin decorating and a hayride. They also had food, crafts and a raffle. It was an overcast day, but the rain held off, and we enjoy a fabulous fall day!
