Dying Easter Eggs
Every Easter, Bailey, Jack and I dye eggs and this year was no exception. We did a dozen eggs, six for each kid. We used white crayon to draw pictures on some, sticker for other and left a few plain. Anyone have any good recipes for hard boiled eggs?

I found an interesting recipe for something called Eggs Jeannette - a recipe that Jacques Pepin's mother used to make. They are stuffed eggs but with a twist- they are placed in a skillet stuffing side down to brown and after, a mustard sauce is added on top. I havent' tried it yet but I am planning on making this recipe on Thursday. A link to the recipe appears under this weeks Menu Sunday post on hobokenmetromom.com if you are interested.
btw. saw your Cheetos Carrots at littlenummies.net and thought they were so cute.
Hey - did you use the tablets or do it with dye?? My grandmother used to NEVER let us by the egg dye kits because she said food coloring egg dye made the best and biggest variety of colors. I used the dye cups though - lol - but maybe next year I will use food coloring. I love dying eggs actually!! Very good picture!
