Two New Pets

The kids spent their Christmas money on My First Pets Fish Tanks. These 2.5 gallon tanks are so cute and kid friendly. They have a lighted cover that has a feeding door and "locks" down. Bailey got Littlest Pet Shop tank and a salmon colored Betta fish, who she named Goldie. Jack got the Sesame Street tank and his Betta fish, Fishy, is also a salmon color.

Meme & Pobby got my Jackie Boy some cute Spiderman pajamas for Christmas. Jack just loves them and was posing for pictures! Say Cheese ;~)

A Barger Christmas

Today, we had Christmas at my in-laws, Bob and Esther Barger, in Diboll, Texas. There was a big group of eighteen. Christian, Bailey, Jack and I drove up from Houston. Christian sister,Robin, drove down from Dallas with her husband, Mike, and kids, Jacqulyn, Sam and Lauren. Both Grandmothers, Jean Jean and Grandma Mary Ellen, and Great Aunt Wilma were there. Ralph and Aunt Sissy flew in from Georgia. Bob's sister, Connie and her son, Bobby, came down from Dallas as well.

You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to some member of the armed services. How AMAZING it would be if we could get everyone we know to send one!!! This is a great site. Please send a card. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? Whether you are for or against the war, our guys and gals over there need to know we are behind them.

Jack's Dentist Visit

Jack’s trip to the dentist yesterday went surprisingly well! We got to Dr. Tina Bui office at 8:00 am to start the oral sedation. Jack wouldn’t drink the medicine out of the cup, but did okay when they used a syringe to shoot it into his mouth. Thirty minutes in the waiting room and they called Jack to come back. It took the nurse picking him up and carrying him to the back. I was waiting for the screams and crying, but never heard any. They gave Jack laughing gas. While he was out they cleaned his teeth, put a metal crown on his lower back molar and sealed the molar on the other side. We were finished in about one hour. Everyone at Dr. Bui’s office said he did great! Way to go Jackie Boy!!

Rodeo Artwork

Bailey's rodeo artwork has been chosen to continue to the next level in the 2009 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo artwork competition. Her artwork will now be shown at the district level in the Humble ISD’s rodeo art contest.

What’s blue and sticky and in Bailey’s hair? GUM!! What a mess we woke up to this morning. I got the gum out with Goo Gone. This stuff is the best for sticky messes.

Pappasito's Birthday

Christian, Bailey and Jack took me to Pappasitos for my birthday. The food was great and the hot brownie ice cream sundae was delicious!
