This week at the library, the kids attended a Precy Jackson Party. They made crowns, played games, and had sword fights.

And it wouldn't be a party without CAKE!

It was such a fun event. Just LOVE our local library!

Sweet Treats for HHE Staff

For October, I did a "sweet" treat to give out to the HHE Staff. I love this Holiday Party Snack Mix because you can add the candy for they holiday at hand. I used Fall colored M&Ms this time.

Meme & Pobby came down today and took me & the kids to the Crosby Boo Bash & Pumpkin Patch. We had a lot of fun playing games, decorating pumpkins and eating :0)

October 2010 Picture of the Month

October has brought some wonderful fall weather to us here in Texas. All is going well. Bailey and Jack are both doing great in school. They are both are looking forward to all the festivities this month has to offer. Today, we wnt to the Fall Festival at the May Center and had a wonderful time.

Dinner for KHS Football Coaches

Yesterday, the kids and I took a big crock pot filled to the rim with chili and all the fixin's up to the coaches office. Bailey and Jack got to see the "football rooms" were Daddy works and met some of the other coaches. The chili was a hit and there was none left.

First Day of School 2010 - 2011

Monday was the first day of school for Humble ISD. Bailey started 2nd grade and Jack started 1st grade. Here we are waiting for Jack's bus.

I took Bailey to school. She has Mrs. Brendle this year. Bailey seems the really like her.

Looks like we are off to a GREAT start!

San Antonio

Spent some time walking around San Antonio. Here we are in front of the Alamo.

We did lots of walking and the boat tour was a nice way to see everything. After the boat tour we went to Hard Rock Cafe for dinner. Jack wanted a small souvenir from the gift shop: A black Hard Rock guitar that cost $240.00 :0)

Morgan's Wonderland 2010

While we were in San Antonio, we spent a day at Morgan's Wonderland. This park is designed for special needs kids and adults as well as the care takers and family.The park offers rides, fishing, music, water sensory play, and more. It was impressive to see how the rides were all wheel chair accessible.

Jack's favorite part was the music sensory area. Here is a short video of him playing one of the many instruments.

Bailey picked Morgan's Wonderland over Sea World and Schlitterbahn. She said it was her favorite part of our vacation.

Sea World San Antonio 2010

Went to Sea World this past week and had the best time. The park was not crowded at all. We only had to wait about 10-15 minutes for the rides.

Here is a short video of the kids getting wet at the Atlantis ride.

Bailey rode all the rides, including the big roller coater. Jack wasn't tall enough for the big roller coaster, but rode everything else. They are both fearless.

Go Mustangs 2010

We are gearing up for the 2010 - 2011 Mustang Football season. We are looking forward to a winning season. Here is a short half time show by Jack!

Cats & Dogs

Went to the movies today to see Cats and Dogs: the Revenge of Kitty Galore. The kids enjoyed it, but the humor is a little over their heads.

Emily's Birthday

Took Jack to Emily's birthday at Kids in Action. Emily was in Jack's summer fun class. He had a GREAT time!

The roller coaster was one of the favorite things there.

Jack says he wants to do his birthday here next year.

August 2010 Picture of the Month

Only three more weeks of summer for us and school will be back in session. We have our last week of space camp at WLC and plan to fill the final two week of summer at the pool. Need to do a little back to school shopping too.
